After graduating from the University of Guelph Horticulture program in 1985 and the Flowers Canada Design School she spent several years apprenticing in flower shops and Garden Centers in the Guelph and Kitchener area. In addition to gaining a solid background in the nursery business, she learned the art of floral design there and has been perfecting her talent ever since. A number of original arrangements are available to buy or a custom piece can be created just for you. THE CEDAR ROSE GARDEN TEAM

Our Dogs
In addition to a wonderful group of hardworking seasonal wreathmakers the rest of the Cedar Rose team consists of Ted Tenbergen, an independent heating contractor who keeps everything running. This is no small feat considering that we live completely off the hydro grid. Ted has put together a combination wind and solar power system. His in-floor heating systems heat our small greenhouse and will soon heat our home as well. Rachel and Sean help out with weeding, pine cone collecting and much more. Over the years, many customers have come to know Annette's mother Rita who has selflessly devoted a great deal of her retirement to help make the Cedar Rose what it is today.Last but not least are the official canine greeters...Rex the quiet Border Collie and Sam the noisy Australian Shepherd cross. As you can see we are quite a dedicated, hardworking crew and we warmly welcome you to visit us here at our wonderful place in the country.
